  • Many kids playing youth sports dream of growing up to play in the pros. But, few actually get the chance to do so. Imagine working up to that dream only to have it shattered by a potentially career-ending injury on the first day of practice.   • With the fall semester fast approaching, so are open tryouts for the 2017-2018 Michigan State lacrosse team. There will be a $20 charge for all players interested. The dates are as follows:   Monday 9/11, 8-9 pm: Informational Meeting @ IM West (Room TBD) Tuesday 9/12, 9-11 pm: Tryouts @ Ralph Young Field Wednesday 9/13 8-10 pm: Tryouts @ Ralph Young Field Thursday 9/14, 7-9 pm: Tryouts @ Ralph Young Field  *Ralph Young is an astro turf field so remember to bring turf/running shoes*

  • We had a lightning strike at 9:15am and must wait until 9:45am at the earliest to step on the field. We have access to the West Gym at Grandville High School and are currently meeting in the main entry way. We are going to stay here until 9:45am and if we have to wait longer we will then move to the gym until lunch time and hope to get back on the field after lunch.We will be emailing updates and if you have questions please call coach Holding @ 517.648.3476. Thank you!

  • Michigan State defeated Northeastern 13-6 Tuesday, May 9 in a consolation game of the Division 1 MCLA national tournament in Irvine California. Michigan State ends the season with a record of 12-5 after losing to #1 seed Brigham Young 10-8 Monday night. In that game, State outscored BYU 7-1 during a furious second half rally.
